Opponent: The City (and tomorrow morning)
Date: Final Night
Analyst: Lead Analyst & Head Scout, Team Netherlands
Competition: Celebration Qualification (CQ) – Winner takes the best memories
Build Up:
Latvias population consists of 2/3 women, which means we from the beginning have very high chances of not going home alone tonight.
Very important we need to SAUFEN, we need everybody in a good mood.
Playing style:
We start with a good old fashion man man, if that doesn’t work we switch to a wingman mode, where we go 2 on 1.
Players to watch:
Last results – statistics:
Jesper already showed how easy it is to bag a Latvian women, so this should be an fairly easy task even for (daddy dong and Esper)
As mentioned before 2/3 of the Latvian population is Women
Matchplan
Very simple saufe
show the dutch pride down here
Show that the dutch men are capable of securing some Latvian women
We start in a controlled 2-1-2 build-up:
2 players secure logistics (meeting point + first round).
1 center acts as the “relay hub” (keeps the group together).
2 attackers apply pressure on the dancefloor / photo opportunities.
If the night gets chaotic, we switch to 2-2-1:
Two hold the line at the bar.
Two protect the “safe zone” (water + snacks).
One roams as the free safety and makes sure nobody gets lost. 🧭
We run a patient 1-2-2 mid-press:
No reckless sprinting early.
We wait for the first “trigger” (DJ drops a banger / someone says “one more”).
Then we press in bursts: short, intense, and perfectly timed.
Power Play: Static but efficient. Focus on quick ordering, clean payment execution, and high traffic at the bar.
Box Play: Tight diamond. We allow outside distractions, but we block bad decisions in the high slot (e.g., “Let’s do shots… again”). 😉
We don’t need 60% “control.” We’re happy to let the night flow—as long as we stay in our safe zone:
Together
Respectful
Good vibes only 😄
This is our deadliest weapon:
After a “turnover” (someone loses the group), we counter immediately:
vertical movement → regroup → continue.
No unnecessary side quests.
We play hard but fair:
Strong handshakes
Big laughs
Zero drama
And we protect the knees on slippery dance floors. 🕺
Shooting efficiency: High when we keep it simple: smiles, photos, good music.
Goals against: Mostly conceded in the last third of the night (fatigue effect).
High-risk moments: “Let’s go to another place” at a random hour.
Winning formula: togetherness + good decisions + water.
If someone makes a “turnover” (drops a glass, loses a jacket, disappears), we react immediately:
find → recover → reset. No blaming. Just solutions.
If only two people plan everything, the team collapses.
Recommendation: everyone owns one micro-task:
meeting point ✅
playlist request ✅
water checks ✅
taxi coordination ✅
photo duty ✅
Late-night back-checking is vulnerable.
Recommendation: leave with structure:
buddy system
clear exit time
phones charged
everyone gets home safe
Tournament done. Work done. Now it’s time to celebrate as a team—loud laughs, strong unity, and smart choices.
We came here together. We finish together.
Tonight: memories. Tomorrow: recovery. 🇳🇱🍻
